This Week in Oatmeal 09/03/2016

Every Saturday, I gather oatmeal recipes from around the web from the previous 1-3 weeks, as well as outstanding Instagram photos. These posts may grow or evolve as time passes. Please feel free to give your feedback in the comments section!

This week’s theme is apples! 🍏🍎🍏🍎

Mmm, apple oats are my favorite💕 Somehow I am all out of cinnamon though, which is positively heartbreaking😭 But it’s okay, the heavenly PB2 + maple syrup combo PLUS extra maple syrup totally made up for that😝👌 The other toppings are apple (as well as apple cooked into the oats), kiwi, granola & chia seeds😌 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #vegan #veganfood #crueltyfree #vegansofig #vegansofinstagram #crueltyfreefood #healthyfood #healthy #healthyeating #animalsarefriends #meatless #nomeat #saveanimals #veganfortheanimals #veganforeverything #plantpower #eatlikeyougiveafuck #dairyfree #meatfree #whatveganseat #eatplantsnotfriends #govegan #plantbased #oatmeal #oats #oatmealporn #oatmeallove #oatmealartist

Next week’s theme is cinnamon! This is an easy theme since cinnamon can be combined with just about any fruit, but it also happens to go well with fall flavors! 🍂 If you want to be included, show me some oatmeal love with the #oatmealartist hashtag!

Apples and I have a weird relationship. I love their smell. I love their crunchiness. I love their sweetness. I love their versatility. Yet I rarely eat them! :O I’m trying to find more creative ways to eat them now, but I do think these oatmeal recipes and grams are such keepers! Yummy!

  2. Thank you so much for featuring my apple crisp overnight oats recipe. Will share around. What a fun Saturday ritual to celebrate oatmeal 🙂
