  1. Thanks so much for the shout out! Love your blog! Adding it to my reader so we can keep in touch.

Hello, I love oatmeal. The pics of your creations look sooo nice and yummy. I was wondering, when you make up your recipes do you keep a target calorie goal in mind? Do all of your recipes have the calorie count available? I do need more oatmeal ideas, so I’m going to save a bunch of your recipes.

Thank you for your time and response!
    Have a nice day!

Hmm I think I naturally aim for around 400, but I don’t put a lot of thought into it. Usually the base of the oatmeal itself is around 300 calories and the various toppings bring it to around 400-500. I don’t calculate the calories or any of the nutritional content because I used to have an unhealthy preoccupation with calories. 🙂

I love @wholeandhealthy and @fortheloveofpb as well! They post wonderful porridge and oatmeal recipes! Oh and I saw the Chocolate Cake Oatmeal and fell in LOVE!

  4. Thank you so much for including me in your round-up! But for me the best part was just the chance to discover your blog. So amazing. I want to try every single recipe. 😀
